Our Client, a fortune 500 company and one of the nation’s largest distribution companies is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist/Manager. The Product Marketing Manager will focus on strategic and tactical activities to support their assigned industry leading suppliers. This person will manage all of the marketing activities between our client and their manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic
- Analyze customer sales data to identify opportunities to drive sales growth
- Coordinate key contacts at our client and their suppliers for implementation and communication of sales promotions and marketing programs
- Ensure scheduled programs are completed on time and on budget
- Analyze sales results and generate monthly reports
- Tactical
- Develop a detailed calendar of sales and marketing activities
- Assist in coordinating product training programs
- Analyze customer data to support direct mail marketing campaigns
- Manage the creation of marketing collateral, including direct mailers, brochures, flyers, and catalog pages
- Effectively communicate results, best practices, and successes
- Analyze sales results and generate monthly reports
- Assist in managing Supplier participation in trade shows and training programs
Requirements:
- 4 or more years of product marketing and product management related experiences with a fortune 500 company.
- Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment a must.
- Entrepreneurial drive.
- Experience as a team leader and a team player.
- Ability to multi-task.
- 4-year college degree. MBA preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and the internet.
- Willingness to travel 10%.
Compensation : Base salary commensurate with experience plus bonus.
